hey ya'll!!
ok so plans have changed a little for the surgery and procedure. I am going to be having a PET scan this next Tuesday and my surgery is going to be preformed by Dr. Chris McClendon and Dr. Keith Martin dear family friends of ours, which is SUCH a praise. While I was still in Lusaka, my Papa got everything together with the doctors and everything. The surgery is scheduled for Feb. 2nd. Which is two weeks from yesterday.. It is a little later then we expected but I know that the Lord is in control of everything including dates. If recovery does not take to long I will be headed back to Zambia mid February. I am amazed by how many people are encouraging me and my family during this time. The prayers and the body of Christ is truly a testimony of God's faithfulness and love to me. One of my friends, Mary Lawson Day has been so encouraging and praying Psalm 145 and 91 over me. She is a breast cancer survivor and all of this is very real to her. My best friends, Craig and Liz have also suffered from melanoma and lymphoma-Hodgkin's Disease and their encouragement has helped me so much. It is so incredible that Liz, Craig and I have all have had some sort of cancer and that our hearts are being bound closer and closer together and for that I am so grateful. He continues to whisper His promises of faithfulness and love to me and to continue to persevere and finish the race He has set before me. I am clinging to Philippians and Psalm 91 and of course Psalm 37:4. HE IS FAITHFUL. Thank you for all the constant prayers and support!!
